Warranty Information

This warranty covers consumer products for two years and accessories for ninety days against defects in materials and workmanship.

Getting Started:
  • Location: Place the base away from humid areas and at least 1 metre from other electrical appliances.
  • Handset Range: Up to 300m outdoors, 50m indoors.
  • Setup: Plug in the base, then charge the handset for 16 hours. Connect the telephone line cord after charging.
  • Date & Time: Set the date and time via the menu.
Using the Phone:
  • Making Calls: Dial number and press to call, or dial first and then press.
  • Answering Calls: Press to answer. Auto answer can be enabled by lifting the handset.
  • Volume Control: Adjust earpiece and ringer volume during calls or when ringing.
  • Mute: Mute your microphone during a call.
  • Intercom: Make internal calls between handsets.
  • Hands-free: Talk without holding the handset.
  • Redial: Access the last 10 dialled numbers.
  • Keypad Lock: Prevent accidental operation.
Answering Machine:
  • Operation: Can be operated from the base, handset, or remotely.
  • Features: Record messages, memos, set outgoing messages, adjust ring delay.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Possible Cause Solution
No dial tone - Telephone line cord not supplied or connected properly.
- Mains power not connected or switched on.
- Use only the supplied telephone line cord.
- Check connections.
- Check mains power connection and switch.
No display - Batteries inserted incorrectly or not fully charged.
- Handset not switched on.
- Insert batteries correctly and charge fully.
- Press and hold to switch on handset.
- Reset base by removing batteries and disconnecting mains power.
Icon flashes - Handset out of range.
- Handset not registered to base.
- Mains power not connected or switched on.
- Move closer to the base.
- Ensure handset is registered.
- Check mains power.
Keypad does not seem to work - Keypad lock is on. - Unlock the keypad.
Icon is not scrolling during charge - Handset not adjusted correctly on base.
- Charging contacts dirty.
- Mains power not connected or switched on.
- Adjust handset.
- Clean charging contacts.
- Check mains power.
No Caller ID - Caller ID service not subscribed to.
- Caller withheld number.
- Record not found in phonebook.
- Check subscription with network operator.
- Ensure full number is stored in phonebook.
Cannot register a handset - Max handsets reached.
- Incorrect PIN code.
- Interference from other equipment.
- De-register a handset first.
- Enter correct PIN (default 0000).
- Ensure handset is at least 1 metre from other equipment.
Handset does not ring - Handset ringer volume set to Off. - Adjust handset ringer volume.
Base does not ring - Base ringer volume set to Off. - Adjust base ringer volume.
Noise interference - Phone too close to electrical appliances or metal obstructions. - Place phone at least 1 metre away.
Answering machine will not record new messages - Recording memory full.
- OGM set to Answer Only.
- Play and delete messages.
- Change OGM to Record also.
