Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Possible Cause Solution
No dial tone The telephone line cord is not connected or is not plugged in securely. Check the telephone line cord connection at the base and the wall jack. Ensure it is plugged in securely.
Handset is not charging The handset is not placed correctly on the base. Place the handset on the base, ensuring the charging contacts align. The CHARGE light should be on.
Poor sound quality Interference from other electronic devices or being out of range. Move the telephone base away from other electronic devices. Ensure the handset is within range of the base. For Bluetooth calls, move the cell phone closer to the base.
Cannot pair Bluetooth device Bluetooth feature is not enabled on the cell phone/headset, or the device is not in discoverable mode. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your cell phone/headset and it is in discoverable mode. Refer to the cell phone/headset manual for instructions. Try restarting both devices.
