Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Possible Cause and Solution
No power. Insert the plug of the AC adaptor into a power socket. Check the connection of the DC power cable and the AC adaptor cable. If the battery of the remote control unit is exhausted, replace it with a new one.
I'm pressing the buttons but nothing is working. Condensation. Wait one hour before using.
No sound is coming from the speakers. The volume is turned down. Adjust the volume.
The remote control does not work. The insulation sheet has been inserted in the battery compartment when shipped from the factory. Pull it out before use. If the battery is exhausted, replace it with a new one. Use the remote control unit within the operation range (5 m/16') and point it at the remote sensor on the main unit. Remove any obstacles between the remote control unit and the main unit. If a bright light is near the unit, turn it off.
The sound is noisy. The unit is too close to a TV or similar device. Relocate it away from the interfering device or turn it off.
Cannot insert the CD into the unit. Remove dust or obstacles from the central hub of the unit.
Cannot play. Insert a disc with the label side facing you. You cannot play back unfinalized CD-R/RW discs. Finalize such a disc using a CD recorder and try again. Depending on the disc type, it may not be possible to play back.
The sound stutters or breaks up. The unit is placed somewhere where there is a lot of vibration. Put it somewhere with less vibration. The disc is dirty. Clean the disc.
MP3/WMA Cannot play. Check the MP3/WMA file extension.
Cannot listen to any station, or the signal is too weak. Tune in to a station properly. Change the position or orientation of the main unit until you receive the station clearly. Rotate the FM antenna until you receive the station clearly.
