Making a Call
Using Handset: Pick up the handset, wait for dial tone, dial the number, and replace the handset when finished.
Using Speakerphone: Press the SPEAKER key, wait for dial tone, dial the number, converse, and press SPEAKER key to end.
Receiving a Call
Using Handset: Lift the handset when the phone rings, converse, and replace when finished.
Using Speakerphone: Press SPEAKER key when the phone rings, converse, and press SPEAKER key to end.
Switching Between Handset and Speakerphone
To switch from Handset to Speakerphone: Press SPEAKER Key, then replace the handset.
To switch from Speakerphone to Handset: Pick up the handset.
Troubleshooting and error codes
| Problem | Solution |

| No dial tone /Will not dial out |
Check that the hook switch is not depressed. Check that the line cord is connected. Make sure the SPEAKER key LED is lit (if using speakerphone). Ensure that the Dialing Mode Switch is set to the correct position. Unplug the phone, wait 30 seconds, then plug the phone back in. |
| Phone does not ring | Ensure there are no other devices connected to the same line. |
| Cannot be heard by the other party |
Confirm phone cord and handset curly cord are securely plugged in. Make sure MUTE key LED is off. |
| Cannot use one-touch dialing |
Make sure that a number has been correctly stored in the one-touch key. A row of "-" indicates an empty one-touch key. |
