Manual for Versa TXi

Power Sources

The Versa TXi notebook can be powered by:

• AC adapter connected to a wall outlet.
• Battery power (primary and optional secondary batteries).
• Optional Auto adapter (not available in U.S. or Canada).

Using the AC Adapter

Connect the AC adapter to the system and a grounded wall outlet to run on AC power or recharge the battery. Keep it connected whenever possible.

Powering On the System

1. Open the LCD panel.
2. Press the power button to turn on the system.

System Batteries

The system uses a Li-Ion primary battery and a CMOS battery. Optional secondary and extended life batteries are available.

Using the Primary Battery

The 3-cell Li-Ion primary battery is easy to install and remove. The optional 15-cell battery attaches to the bottom.
