Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Possible Cause/Solution
No picture
  • Signal cable not completely connected.
  • Display card not seated properly.
  • Monitor does not support DisplayPort converter signal.
  • Front Power Switch and computer power switch not ON.
  • Unsupported mode selected on display card/system.
  • Incompatibility between monitor and display card.
  • Bent or pushed-in pins on signal cable connector.
  • Incorrect signal input selected (DVI-D, DisplayPort, D-Sub).
  • Check OFF MODE SETTING or Human sensor status if LED is dark blue.
Power Key does not respond
  • Unplug and replug the monitor's power cord to reset.
  • Check for stuck buttons on the bezel.
Image Persistence
  • Image persistence is a residual image, not permanent on LCDs.
  • Avoid displaying constant images for long periods.
  • To alleviate, turn off the monitor for as long as the image was displayed.
  • Use a moving screen saver or turn off the monitor when not in use.
Message "OUT OF RANGE" is displayed
  • Signal clock or resolution is too high. Choose a supported mode.
  • Signal frequency is out of range. Choose a supported mode.
Image is unstable, unfocused or swimming is apparent
  • Signal cable should be completely attached.
  • Use OSD Image Adjust controls (focus, fine adjustment) to correct.
  • Readjust settings if display mode is changed.
  • Check monitor and display card compatibility and signal timings.
  • Change video mode to non-interlace and use 60Hz refresh rate if text is garbled.
LED on monitor is not lit
  • Ensure Power Switch is ON and power cord is connected.
  • Increase LED BRIGHTNESS adjustment.
  • Ensure ECO MODE and AUTO BRIGHTNESS are OFF.
Picture is not as bright
  • Turn OFF AUTO BRIGHTNESS if brightness fluctuates.
  • Signal cable should be completely attached.
  • LCD brightness degradation may occur over time or in cold conditions.
Display image is not sized properly
  • Use OSD Image Adjust controls (coarse adjustment).
  • Ensure a supported mode is selected on the display card or system.
No Video
  • Turn the monitor power OFF and ON again.
  • Ensure the computer is not in power-saving mode.
  • Some video cards may not output video signal when monitor is OFF/ON or disconnected/connected to AC power under low resolution with DisplayPort.
No Sound
  • Ensure speaker cable is connected.
  • Check if mute is activated.
  • Check volume in OSD menu.
  • Check "SOUND INPUT" in OSD Tools for DisplayPort.
Brightness variations over time
  • Turn Auto Brightness to OFF and adjust manually.
  • Monitor automatically adjusts brightness based on ambient light when Auto Brightness is ON.
USB Hub does not operate
  • Ensure USB cord is properly connected. Refer to USB device's manual.
Human sensor does not work
  • Check Human Sensor settings and ensure no objects or infrared radiating equipment are in front of the sensor.
ControlSync does not work
  • Ensure ControlSync cable is connected correctly and not in a loop.
  • Master monitor should be connected to OUT connector only.
  • Use provided ControlSync cable.
