Troubleshooting and error codes

SYMPTOMS POSSIBLE PROBLEM SOLUTION REMARK
IntelliBase does not function. The unit is not powered on. Ensure the AC adapter cable is securely plugged into the DC IN jack on the rear of the IntelliBase and the adapter is plugged into a working AC outlet. The green power indicator light on the IntelliBase will illuminate when the unit is powered on.
USB Audio does not function properly. The USB cable between the IntelliBase and the computer is not securely connected or is defective. Ensure both ends of the USB cable are securely connected or try replacing the USB cable. The green USB indicator light illuminates when the USB line is active.
USB Audio is distorted (e.g., static, crackling, hissing, etc.) The IntelliBase control panel software is not installed or active on the host computer. Ensure the IntelliBase control panel software is properly installed and active on the host computer. Refer to the instruction manual for further information. The IntelliBase control panel icon should appear in the system tray when active.
USB devices connected to the IntelliBase do not function. The system requirements are not adequate for IntelliBase operation. Ensure that the system requirements for operating the IntelliBase are met. The IntelliBase cannot operate without Windows 98.
Audio is distorted (e.g., static, crackling, hissing, etc.) The sound level or input signal from the sound file is too high. Lower the volume level on the IntelliBase or using the control panel GUI. It may also be necessary to reduce the BASS level on certain types of music.
Sound comes from only one speaker during analog audio operation. The balance control is set to an extreme. Center the balance control using the control panel GUI. Balance (and other controls) can be reset to their default position using the Reset button on the GUI.
