| Fails to insert or remove the Switch Module. | Foreign object in the slot. | Make sure there is no foreign object inside the Switch Module slot. |
| Incorrect installation direction. | Make sure that you have installed the Switch Module in the right direction. | |
| A switch module does not work. | Incorrect installation of module, slot, or cables. | Make sure that the Switch Module, slot, and cable connections are correctly installed. |
| No power supply. | Make sure that power is supplied throughout the system. | |
| The STATUS LED goes on amber, not green. | Improper installation. | Make sure that the Switch Module has been installed properly. |
| Module failure. | If the STATUS lamp does not go on, remove and reinstall the module. Refer to error messages on the SIGMABLADE monitor and consult the User's Guide for EM Card or Blade Enclosure. | |
| The local console is disabled. | No power supply. | Make sure that power is supplied throughout the system. |
| The remote console is disabled. | Incorrect connection or configuration. | Ensure correct connection and IP address configuration for the remote console. Verify power supply. |
| The http button on EM card is disappeared. | Browser issue. | Enter IP address directly on web browser. |
| Fails to establish a link. (The LINK/ACT LED indicator does not turn on.) | Improper cable connection. | Check cable connection, specifications, and partner device settings. |
| Incorrect driver. | Ensure you are using a correct driver in the CPU Blade. | |
| Link partner issues. | Confirm error logs on the link partner side. | |
| Network adapter Teaming feature of the CPU Blade does not work. | Teaming configuration issue. | Remove teaming adapter to check individual interfaces. Ensure correct teaming configuration and network deployment. Turn off Spanning Tree Protocol when using AFT. |
| Link down/up occurs frequently in the opposite port of a QSFP port. | Incorrect QSFP portmode selection. | Make sure that the portmode of a QSFP port is selected appropriately. |
