Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Check These Items
Does not turn on or shut down
  • Check power cord and button.
  • Ensure lamp cover is installed correctly.
  • Check for overheating and ensure proper ventilation.
  • Replace lamp if end of life is reached.
  • Wait for projector to display image after lamp is turned off.
  • Ensure [OFF TIMER] or [AUTO POWER OFF] is off.
No image
  • Select correct input source.
  • Ensure cables are connected properly.
  • Use menus to adjust brightness and contrast.
  • Ensure lens cover is open.
  • Reset settings to factory preset.
  • Enter registered keyword if security is enabled.
  • Connect projector and PC before powering on PC.
  • Check for computer's screen-saver or power management software.
  • Check if projector is in Forced ECO mode due to high temperature.
  • Select appropriate wall color setting.
  • Adjust [HUE] in [PICTURE].
Picture suddenly becomes dark
  • Check if projector is in Forced ECO mode. Lower room temperature.
Color tone or hue is unusual
  • Check [WALL COLOR] setting.
  • Adjust [HUE] in [PICTURE].
Image isn't square to the screen
  • Reposition projector.
  • Use Keystone correction.
Picture is blurred
  • Adjust focus.
  • Reposition projector.
  • Ensure distance is within adjustment range.
  • Check for condensation on lens.
Flicker appears on screen
  • Set [FAN MODE] to [AUTO] if using at lower altitudes.
  • Check computer's resolution and frequency.
  • Adjust computer image manually.
Image is scrolling vertically, horizontally or both
  • Check computer's resolution and frequency.
  • Adjust computer image manually.
Remote control does not work
  • Install new batteries.
  • Ensure no obstacles between sensor and remote.
  • Avoid fluorescent lights.
  • Check battery installation.
  • Ensure you press and hold the EXIT button for 10 seconds.
