Programme Selection
Directly select channels using the NUMBER buttons (0-9) on the remote. For two-digit numbers, press the second digit within 2.5 seconds. Alternatively, use the CH UP/DOWN buttons on the remote or the set.

Sound Control
Adjust volume using the VOLUME UP/DOWN buttons. Mute sound by pressing the MUTE button; press again to unmute.

Picture Control
Cycle through three preset picture settings (Normal I, Normal II, Favourite) using the PICTURE/OK button. For detailed adjustments (brightness, contrast, etc.), access the Picture menu.

Sleep Function
Set the TV to turn off automatically after a specified time (30, 60, 90, 120 minutes) by repeatedly pressing the SLEEP button. The remaining time is displayed on the programme status.

Programme Status Display
Access by pressing the CH-CALL button. Shows programme number, channel name, clock, and remaining sleep time.

Troubleshooting and error codes

SYMPTOM CHECK
No picture or sound.
  • Check the TV set is plugged in.
  • Check the volume, Brightness and Contrast controls are set to the minimum positions.
Picture is OK, but No Sound
  • Check the Volume control is set to the minimum position.
Sound is OK, but No Picture
  • Check the Brightness and Contrast controls are set to the minimum position.
No Colour
  • Check the Colour control is set to the minimum position.
Excessive noise in picture
  • Check the Antenna Cable is broken or disconnected or damaged.
  • It may be affected by interfering signal. (ex. from nearby amateur radio transmitter or another TV set.)
  • The interference can be reduced to some extent by adjusting the direction or height of the antenna. (If the twin lead antenna cable is used, replace it with a coaxial cable.)
Diagonal stripes appear on picture
  • Check the Antenna cable is broken or disconnected or damaged.
Picture has "Snow"
  • Small dot on the screen caused by a weak aerial signal.
  • Check the Antenna direction has changed after storm or strong wind etc..
Ghost images appear.
  • Ghost images are caused by a signal reflected from a hill or large building etc..
  • The direction or height of the antenna should be chosen well in order to minimize the ghost images.
