De'Longhi warrants this product against defects for two years from the date of purchase.
Turning the machine on/off: Press the Espresso or Lungo button to turn on. Press both buttons simultaneously to turn off before automatic power off.
Energy Saving Mode: The machine will automatically enter power off mode after 9 minutes. You can change this to 30 minutes.
First Use/After Long Non-Use: Rinse water tank, place container, plug in, press Espresso or Lungo to activate, then press Lungo 3 times to rinse.
Coffee Preparation: Fill tank, insert capsule, close lever, place cup, press Espresso or Lungo button. Eject capsule by lifting and closing lever.
Programming Water Volume: Turn on, wait for ready, fill tank, insert capsule, place cup, press and hold Espresso or Lungo button, release when desired volume is served.
Emptying System: Press Espresso & Lungo to turn off. Remove tank, open lever. Press both buttons for 3s. Close lever. Machine switches off. Empty and clean drip tray.
Reset to Factory Settings: With machine off, press and hold Lungo for 5s. Lights blink 3 times to confirm reset.

| No light indicator. | Check the mains, plug, voltage, and fuse. In case of problems, call the Nespresso Club. |
| No coffee, no water. | First use: fill water tank with warm water (max. 55° C) and run through machine according to instructions on page 10. Water tank is empty. Fill water tank. Descale if necessary; see Descaling section. |
| Coffee comes out very slowly. | Flow speed depends on the coffee variety. Descale if necessary; see Descaling section. |
| Coffee is not hot enough. | Preheat cup. Descale if necessary. |
| Capsule area is leaking (water in capsule container). | Position capsule correctly. If leakages occur, call the Nespresso Club. |
| Irregular blinking. | Send appliance to repair or call the Nespresso Club. |
| No coffee, just water runs out (despite inserted capsule). | In case of problems, call the Nespresso Club. |
