Section 1 Operating Information

Normal Standby Operation: System Normal on Header Bar, Green POWER LED, no Red FIRE ALARM or Blue CO ALARM, no Yellow SUPERVISORY, TROUBLE, DISABLE, OTHER, or SIGNALS SILENCED indications.

Alarm Condition: Red FIRE ALARM, Blue CO ALARM, or Yellow OTHER indications on screen. Alarm signaling devices activated. Alarm information visible on touch screen.

Pre-Alarm Condition: No specific indication listed for pre-alarm.

Alarm Reset: Locate and correct alarm condition, then tap RESET touch point.

Trouble Condition: Indicates a condition requiring attention. Contact local service. Tap ACK to silence audible signal. Trouble indication remains until cleared.

Section 2 NCD Touch Point Functions

ACK (ACKNOWLEDGE): Silences piezo, steadies flashing events, changes condition to Acknowledged. Advances display if multiple events exist. One tap for non-fire, trouble, supervisory. Fire alarms require one tap per activation.

SILENCE: Turns off silenceable circuits. Illuminates SIGNALS SILENCED indicator. Subsequent alarm resounds system.

RESET: Resets NCD in standalone applications. Resets associated panel in network applications.

LAMP TEST: Performed via Test/Diagnostics. Turns on all pixels, sounds piezo, illuminates Power and Off Normal LEDs for four seconds.

Section 3 Event Indicators

Fire Alarm: Red (flashing then steady). Clears on RESET.

CO Alarm: Blue (flashing then steady). Clears on RESET.

Supervisory: Yellow (flashing then steady). Latches until RESET.

Security: Blue (flashing then steady). Latches until RESET.

Trouble: Yellow (flashing then steady). Clears when all conditions cleared.

Disable: Yellow (flashing then steady). Clears when re-enabled.

Other Event: Yellow (flashing then steady for Critical Process/Hazard/Weather Alert), Blue for CO Pre-alarm, Red for Pre-alarm. Clears when condition cleared.

Signals Silenced: Yellow (illuminates after SILENCE, turns off on RESET).

Section 4 LED Indicators

Power: Green (primary power applied).

Off Normal: Yellow (any off normal event).

Section 5 NCD Audible Sounder

Alarm: Continuous tone.

Trouble, Disable, Pre-alarm: One beep per second.

CO-Alarm, Supervisory: Four beeps per second.

Security: Eight beeps per second.

Other Event: Four beeps per second.
