Powering On/Off: Connect the power cord. The TV will either turn on directly or go into standby. Press the POWER button on the TV or remote to turn it on. Press the same button to put it into standby mode (low power consumption). To completely turn off the TV, unplug it from the mains socket.

Using the Remote Control: Navigate menus, select channels, adjust settings, and control various functions using the buttons on the remote. The number buttons (0-9) are for selecting channels or settings. The 'Menu' button opens the main menu, 'Exit' closes menus, and 'OK' confirms selections or opens submenus. Use the arrow buttons (▲/▼/◄/►) to navigate and adjust values.

Channel Setup: The TV guides you through initial setup, including language and country selection, and then proceeds to channel tuning. You can perform an automatic search for digital and analog channels via Antenna or Cable connection.

Connecting Devices: Various input options are available for connecting external devices like DVD recorders, Blu-ray players, game consoles, and PCs using Component, AV, VGA, and HDMI inputs.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Solution
No picture or sound.
  • Ensure the power cord is properly connected.
  • Check if the input source is correctly set.
  • Ensure the antenna is properly connected.
  • Check if the volume is too low or muted.
  • Make sure headphones are not connected.
  • Consider if reception of other than broadcast channels is being attempted.
Picture not sharp.
  • Ensure the antenna cable is properly connected.
  • Check if your TV signal is received correctly.
  • Some connected peripheral devices (e.g., VHS camera, camcorder) may affect picture quality; turn them off.
  • Ghosting may be caused by antenna blockage; try a higher directional antenna.
  • Horizontal, dotted lines may be caused by electrical interference; turn off such devices (e.g., hairdryers, neon lamps).
Picture is too dark, too bright, or has a tint.
  • Check color settings.
  • Check brightness settings.
  • Check sharpness settings.
  • The fluorescent lamp may be nearing the end of its lifespan.
Remote control not working.
  • Check the remote control batteries.
  • Ensure the remote control sensor is not affected by fluorescent light.
  • Clean the remote control sensor on the TV with a soft cloth.
