Functions

Thermostat Function (Min/Max)

This function is active in both MANUAL and AUTOMATIC modes when using the water temperature sensor. It helps maintain fan lock until adequate water temperature is reached, improving comfort and reducing consumption. The display shows a flashing "FLAME" symbol (Fig. 6G) when this mode is active.

Winter Mode

The fan motor deactivates when the water temperature is below the preset value for adjustable parameter P5 (default 30°C) with a 3°C hysteresis.

Summer Mode

The fan motor deactivates when the water temperature is above the preset value for adjustable parameter P7 (default 20°C) with a 3°C hysteresis.

Temperature Measurement Unit Selection Function

The temperature unit can be changed from °C to °F and vice versa via the "MODIFY OPERATION PARAMETERS" section.

Operating Logic

Manual Summer

The solenoid valve activates when the ambient temperature rises above the preset value for adjustable parameter P0 (default 0.5K) relative to the desired set point. The fan is always active at the set speed, independent of thermostat control (forced ventilation function).

Display shows: Snow symbol (summer), fan speed symbol, set point, ambient temperature, flame symbol if solenoid valve is active.

Automatic Summer

The fan operates at a speed proportional to the difference between detected and set temperatures, deactivating when the desired temperature is reached. Speed changes are based on adjustable parameter P1 (default 1K). The solenoid valve is active when the fan is active.

Display shows: Snow symbol (summer), AUTO symbol (flashing), active fan speed symbol, set point, ambient temperature, flame symbol if solenoid valve is active.

Troubleshooting and error codes

PROBLEMPOSSIBLE CAUSESOLUTION
Appliance/system does not turn on 1. Incorrect connections
2. Loose contact
3. Incorrect LOAD connections
4. Incorrect summer/winter setting
1. Check power cable connections (230V~) to terminals n°1 and n°2.
2. Press the RESET button.
3. Check LOAD cable connections to the regulator terminals.
4. Ensure the display shows the "sun" symbol ( inverno) for WINTER mode or the "snow" symbol () for SUMMER mode.
Displayed temperature does not match the actual temperature 5. Incorrect regulator placement in the room
6. Air draft from the conduit carrying installation wires to the regulator
5./6. Follow the instructions in the "POSITIONING" paragraph.
After pressing the RESET button, the display does not turn on 7. RESET button incorrectly positioned under the plastic part 7. Release the button with the tip of a pencil so it returns to the correct position.
Keys seem to not function 8. Keypad lock active 8. Deactivate keypad lock as indicated in the relevant paragraph.
Display shows E01 or E02 9. Integrated ambient sensor interrupted or short-circuited 9. Press the RESET button and, if persistent, replace the device.
Display shows E03 or E04 10. Water sensor interrupted or short-circuited 10. Check the accuracy and integrity of the sensor and its connections; replace if necessary.
11. Disconnect power to the regulator and reactivate it after disconnecting the sensor to inhibit the minimum/maximum thermostat function.
Appliance behaves irregularly 12. Cause not identifiable 12. Press the RESET button and, if persistent, replace the device.
