Inserting the Battery: Ensure the battery is inserted completely and in the correct direction. The battery will not charge if terminals are misaligned or not fully connected. Make sure the battery lies flat.
Charging the Battery:
- Connect the power plug to the charger.
- Insert the battery as described in "How to insert the battery".
- Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet (AC 100 - 240 V). The red charge indicator will light up, and charging will begin.
- When charging is complete, the indicator will turn green. Disconnect the power plug from the outlet and then remove the battery.
Notes: Recommended air temperature for best results is 10°C - 30°C (50°F - 86°F). If the red indicator blinks, the battery may be broken or improperly inserted. The battery may become warm during charging, which is normal. Avoid plugging the charger into the same outlet as other electronic equipment if static occurs.
