Getting Ready

  • Connect the AC adapter and power cord.
  • Insert the Mini DV cassette tape.
  • Turn on the power.

Shooting

  • Set the selector to AUTO.
  • Remove the lens cap.
  • Look through the viewfinder.
  • Press the START/STOP button to begin recording.

Checking Recordings

  • Open the LCD monitor.
  • Press the playback button to review the last few seconds of footage.

Removing the Tape

  • Open the cassette cover.
  • Remove the cassette tape.
  • Close the cassette cover.

Turning Off the Power

  • Turn the POWER lever to OFF.
  • Disconnect the power cord.

Troubleshooting and error codes
