Getting Started

1. Charge the battery before first use.

2. Connect the AC adapter or battery.

3. Insert an SD Memory Card.

4. Turn on the power switch.

5. Select the recording mode (CAMERA, PB, PHOTO).

6. To record, press the START/STOP button.

7. To playback, press the PLAY button.

8. Use the remote control for convenient operation.

9. Refer to the menu system for advanced settings.

10. Clean the lens and device regularly.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Possible Cause Solution Page
Cannot record even through the SD Memory Card is inserted correctly. Write-protect switch on SD Memory Card is in the 'LOCK' position. Move the switch to the 'UNLOCK' position. P37
Remaining memory on SD Memory Card is extremely low. Save contents to different media, delete unneeded data, or use a new card. P35
