Basic Camera Positioning
- Hold the unit with both hands.
- Put your hand through the grip belt.
- Use the Recording button icon (A) for convenience at waist level. Ensure stable footing and avoid collisions. Record with the sun behind you outdoors to prevent subjects from being too dark. Keep arms close to your body and legs apart for balance. Do not cover microphones.
Basic Motion Picture Recording
- Hold the unit steady. Move slowly and smoothly if moving.
- Use zoom for distant subjects, but avoid excessive zooming.
Recording Yourself
- Rotate the LCD monitor towards the lens. The image will be flipped horizontally (mirror image), but the recorded image is normal.
- If a warning indicator (!) appears, return the LCD to normal position and check the warning.

| I have forgotten the password for the Wi-Fi. | Perform [Reset Wi-Fi Settings] from the Setup menu (→ 36). This will set the Wi-Fi setting to the condition at the time of purchase, and you will be able to use the Wi-Fi setting menu. When performing [Reset Wi-Fi Settings], all Wi-Fi settings including the “LUMIX CLUB” login ID and registered wireless access points will be deleted. |
