Getting Started

Charging the Battery: Connect the AC adapter to the AC outlet and insert the battery into the adapter. The charging lamp will illuminate.

Inserting/Removing Battery: Open the LCD monitor, insert the battery until it clicks, and remove it by holding the power button and moving the battery release lever.

Inserting/Removing SD Card: Open the SD card cover, insert the card until it clicks, and remove by pressing the center and pulling.

Basic Operation

Turning Power On/Off: Use the power button or open/close the LCD monitor.

Selecting Mode: Use the mode switch to select recording or playback mode.

Recording Movies: Select recording mode, open LCD, select media (Built-in Memory or SD CARD), then press the record start/stop button.

Recording Still Pictures: Select recording mode, open LCD, select media, then press the photo button.

Playback: Change mode to playback, select media, choose scene/picture, and use operation icons for playback control.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Unit does not turn on Battery is not charged. Charge the battery.
Cannot record SD card is full or not inserted correctly. Insert a new SD card or check insertion.
Playback is jerky The recording media is slow. Use a faster SD card.
