Warranty Information

Panasonic provides a limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship for camcorders for one year.

Charging the Battery: Connect the AC cable to the AC adapter and outlet, then insert the battery into the AC adapter. The charging lamp indicates the status.
Inserting the Battery: Insert the battery into the camera until it clicks and locks.
Inserting/Removing an SD Card: Open the SD card cover, insert the SD card with the label side facing correctly, and push until it clicks. To remove, press the center of the card and pull it out.
Turning on the Power: Change the mode dial to video or photo mode while pressing the lock release button.
Recording Motion Pictures: Change the mode to video, open the LCD monitor or viewfinder, select the media (Built-in Memory/SD CARD for HDC-TM300, HDD/SD CARD for HDC-HS300), and press the record button.
Recording Still Pictures: Change the mode to photo, open the LCD monitor or viewfinder, select the media, and press the capture button.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Possible Cause Solution
The unit does not turn on. Battery is depleted. Charge the battery.
No picture or sound. The unit is not in the correct mode. Select the correct recording or playback mode.
Lens cover is closed. Open the lens cover.
Cannot record. Built-in memory or SD card is full. Delete unnecessary files or use a new SD card.
Recorded video is jerky or has distorted sound. HDD/memory card is experiencing an abnormality. Back up data immediately and contact support.
Unit used in low atmospheric pressures or extreme temperatures. Operate within specified conditions.
