Charging the battery
Connect the AC cable to the AC adaptor and outlet. Insert the battery into the AC adaptor by aligning the arrows.
Turning the unit on/off
Press the power button to turn on. Hold the power button until the status indicator goes off to turn off.
Selecting a mode
Operate the mode dial to change the mode (Motion Picture, Still Picture, Playback).
How to use the touch screen
Operate by touching the LCD monitor directly or use the stylus pen.
Recording motion pictures
Change to motion picture mode, open LCD or viewfinder, then press the record button.
Recording still pictures
Change to still picture mode, open LCD or viewfinder, then press the shutter button fully.
Motion picture/Still picture playback
Change to playback mode, touch the play mode select icon, select media, then touch the desired scene or picture. Use operation icons for playback control.
