Warranty Information

Panasonic offers a limited warranty covering parts and labor for defects occurring during normal use.

Quick Guide:

  1. Insert Battery: Tilt viewfinder, insert battery until it clicks.
  2. Insert Cassette: Set power to VCR/CAMERA, slide tape eject to open, insert cassette with window up, press to close.
  3. Camera Recording: Set power to CAMERA, adjust viewfinder, open LCD, press RECORD/PAUSE to start/pause.
  4. Playback in LCD: Set power to VCR, open LCD, press REW, press PLAY to start, press STOP to stop.
  5. Supplying Power: Connect AC adapter, attach battery to charge.

Important Safeguards & Precautions:

  • Do not expose to rain or moisture.
  • Do not open unit; refer servicing to qualified personnel.
  • Avoid direct sunlight on lens/EVF.
  • Do not expose to extreme temperatures.
  • Handle with care to avoid damage.
  • Clean with a dry cloth; do not use liquids.
  • Do not touch lens surface with bare hands.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Symptom Correction
No picture in the EVF or LCD Monitor ... • Make sure the Power Source is connected. (pp. 10, 11)
• Make sure the POWER switch is set to ON. (pp. 28, 33)

• Make sure the battery is fully charged. (p. 9)
• Make sure all necessary cables are connected correctly and firmly. (p. 11)
Video cassette can't be inserted ... • Make sure the Lens Cap is removed. (p. 28)

Video cassette can't be removed ... • Insert the cassette with the window side facing up. (p. 7)
No operation starts when operation buttons are pressed • Make sure the Power Source is connected. (pp. 10, 11)

Recording cannot be done ... • Make sure the record tab is closed. (p. 13)
