Getting Started:
1. Charge the battery using the AC adaptor.
2. Insert a cassette and/or SD card.
3. Turn on the camcorder.
4. Select recording mode (Tape or Card).

Recording:
• Tape: Press the record start/stop button.
• Card (Photoshot): Press the PHOTO SHOT button.

Playback:
• Tape: Set to Tape Playback Mode and use the joystick.
• Card: Set to Picture Playback Mode and use the joystick.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Possible Cause Solution
The cassette holder cannot be housed Battery has run down. Set the [OFF/ON] switch to [OFF], then to [ON] again.
Cassette holder in motion, cannot touch anything - Do not touch anything except the [PUSH] mark.
Card data may be lost or camcorder may malfunction Card inserted/removed while power is on. Set the [OFF/ON] switch to [OFF] before inserting/removing a card.
Cannot record onto cassette Accidental erasure prevention slider is open. Close the accidental erasure prevention slider (slide in the direction of the [REC] arrow).
Menu screen does not appear during recording - The menu screen does not appear during recording. You cannot record when the menu screen appears.
