Getting Started:
1. Battery: Charge the battery fully before first use. Attach the charged battery to the camcorder.
2. Cassette Insertion: Slide the OPEN/EJECT lever to open the compartment, then insert a cassette and close the holder and compartment.
3. Memory Card Insertion (Optional): Open the LCD monitor, pull it out, open the card slot cover, insert the memory card, and close the cover.
4. Powering On: Open the LCD monitor or viewfinder, set the OFF/ON switch to ON while pressing the button. The STATUS indicator lights red.
5. Recording: Set the Mode Dial to Tape Recording Mode. Press the Recording Start/Stop Button.
6. Playback: Set the Mode Dial to Tape Playback Mode. Use the joystick to rewind, play, or stop.
