Warranty Information
The camcorder has a one-year warranty for parts and labor.
Charging the battery: Connect AC cable to adaptor and camcorder. Insert battery and push until it clicks. Close cassette holder and cover.
Attaching the battery: Push battery into holder and slide until it clicks.
Inserting/removing a cassette: Slide the OPEN/EJECT lever, open cover, insert/remove cassette, push to close holder, close cover.
Inserting/removing a card (PV-GS85): Turn off power. Open card slot cover. Insert/remove card. Close cover.
Turning on/off power: Press button 1, set OFF/ON switch to ON (red status indicator). To turn off, set switch to OFF.
Using LCD monitor/viewfinder: Pull out LCD monitor or extend viewfinder. Adjust angle/focus as needed. Viewfinder deactivates when LCD opens.
