Panasonic warrants camcorder products for one year for parts and labor, excluding accessories and normal wear and tear.
Inserting the battery: Align and insert the battery until it clicks and locks. Ensure the unit is powered off before inserting/removing.
Charging the battery: Connect the AC adaptor to the unit and the AC cable to the adaptor and outlet. The status indicator will flash red during charging.
Turning the unit on/off: Press the power button to turn on. Hold the power button until the indicator goes off to turn off. Alternatively, opening the LCD monitor turns the unit on, and closing it turns it off.
Selecting a mode: Use the mode switch to change between recording and playback modes.
Recording motion pictures: Change to recording mode, open the LCD monitor, and press the record button.
