Troubleshooting and error codes

Why does ? appear?
  • The handset is too far from the base unit. Move it closer.
  • The AC adaptor for the base unit is not connected properly. Reconnect the AC adaptor to the base unit.
  • The handset is not registered to the base unit. Register it. 1 Handset: [MENU] #130 2 Base unit: Press and hold [LOCATOR] for approximately 5 seconds. 3 Handset: Press [OK], then wait for a long beep.
Why is it not possible to pair a cellular phone with the base unit?
  • Depending on the cellular phone's compatibility, it may not be possible to pair it with the base unit. For more information, visit http://www.panasonic.com/link2cell
  • Confirm that the Bluetooth function of your cellular phone is turned on. You may need to turn on this function depending on your cellular phone.
Why is there no dial tone? (cellular line)
  • Ensure the CELL indicator is lit and the cellular phone is connected to the base unit.
  • The cellular phone has not been paired with the base unit. Pair the cellular phone.
How is the handset volume level increased?
  • Press the navigation key [▲] repeatedly while talking.
Why is there noise or the conversation is cut off?
  • Try repositioning the base unit to minimize the distance to the handset.

Is it possible to add another accessory handset to my base unit?
  • Yes, you can add up to 12 handsets (including those sold with your base unit) to a single base unit.

Is it possible to keep charging the batteries all the time?
  • You can leave the handset in the charger for as long as you wish. This does not damage the batteries.
