Making Calls: Lift the handset, dial the number, then press the talk button. Use speakerphone by pressing the talk button again. Adjust volume with +/- buttons during a call.

Answering Calls: When the phone rings, lift the handset and press the talk button. To end the call, press the end call button or place the handset on the base.

Menu Navigation: Press the Menu button (▲) to access the main menu. Use arrow keys to navigate and OK to select. Press the end call button to exit.

Battery Charging: Charge the handset for at least 7 hours. The "LOW BATTERY" icon indicates charging is needed.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem	Possible Cause	Solution
No dial tone	Telephone line cord	Use only the telephone line cord supplied. Check that the telephone line cord is connected properly. Check that the mains power is connected properly.
	Mains power	Check that the mains power is connected properly.
	Mains power	Check that the mains power is connected properly and switched on.
No display	Batteries	Check that the batteries are inserted correctly and fully charged. Use only approved rechargeable batteries supplied.
	Handset	Check that the handset is switched on.
	Power connection	Reset the unit by removing the batteries and disconnecting the mains power. Wait for around 15 seconds before connecting it again. Allow up to one minute for the handset and base to synchronize.
	Mains power	Check that the mains power is connected properly and switched on.
ill icon flashes	Handset range	Handset is out of range. Move closer to the base.
	Handset registration	The handset registration is cancelled. Register the handset to the base, see page 33.
	Mains power	Check that the mains power is connected properly and switched on.
Keypad does not seem to work	Keypad lock	Check that the keypad lock is not on, see page 22.
☑ icon is not scrolling during charge	Handset placement	Adjust the handset slightly on the base.
	Charging contacts	Clean the charging contacts with a cloth moistened with alcohol.
	Mains power	Check that the mains power is connected properly and switched on.
