Pairing a cellular phone

  • Follow on-screen instructions on both the handset and cellular phone.
  • Default PIN is "0000".

Troubleshooting and error codes

Question Cause and solution
Why does ? appear? The handset is too far from the base unit. Move it closer. The AC adaptor is not connected properly. Reconnect it. The handset is not registered. Register it.
Why can't I pair a cellular phone with the base unit? Check cellular phone compatibility, ensure Bluetooth is on, and that the cellular phone is not already paired to another device.
Why is there no dial tone (cellular line)? Ensure CELL 1 or CELL 2 indicator is lit and the cellular phone is connected. If not paired, pair the cellular phone.
How do I increase the handset receiver volume? Press the volume keys (▲) or (▼) repeatedly while talking.
Why is there noise or the conversation cuts out? Relocate the base unit to minimize distance from the handset. If the problem persists, contact customer service.
Can I add another accessory handset to my base unit? Yes, up to 6 handsets can be added. Visit www.pstc.panasonic.com or call 1-800-332-5368.
Can I keep the batteries charging all the time? Yes, you can leave the handset on the base unit or charger without damaging the batteries.
How do I answer calls on hold (second call)? Press (CALL WAIT) when you hear the call waiting tone.
