Preparation

  1. Turn on the unit the transmitter is connected to.
  2. Turn the volume on the sound source up as much as possible without causing distortion.

Operation

  1. Remove the headphones from the transmitter.
  2. Reduce the volume of the headphones with the [VOL] dial.
  3. Switch the [OPR] switch to “ON”
  4. Put the headphones on.
  5. Press the [TUNING] button to adjust the frequency.
  6. Adjust the volume on the headphones.
  7. To use the SURROUND sound feature, set the [SURROUND] switch to “ON”.

After listening

  1. Take the headphones off.
  2. Switch the [OPR] switch to “OFF”.
  3. Reset the headphones on the transmitter, and recharge them.
  4. Turn off the unit the transmitter is connected to.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Sound is distorted. Is the input level of the audio signal too high? If the transmitter is connected to the headphone jack, turn down the volume of the connected unit. 12
Excessive noise. Is there an obstruction between the transmitter and the headphones? Remove the obstruction, move the transmitter, or change position yourself. 10
• Are other radio waves obstructing the transmitter's waves? • Are the transmission frequency and the receiver's frequency tuned correctly? Change the transmitter channel using the [CHANNEL] switch, and then press the [TUNING] button on the headphones to adjust the frequency automatically. 14
Is the input level of the audio signal too low? If the transmitter is connected to the headphone jack, turn up the volume of the connected unit. 12
No sound, sound is distorted, or there is excessive noise. Is the OPR indicator dim or does it fail to light at all? The batteries have run down. Recharge them. If the indicator remains dim after recharging, the batteries have come to the end of their serviceable life and need to be replaced. 8
