Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Possible Cause Remedy
The viewfinder or monitor is fogged (condensation). Caused by environmental conditions (high temperature, humidity, sudden temperature changes). Turn off the camera, open the side door in a place with constant ambient temperature. Fog should disappear in about 2 hours. If not, contact Panasonic.
Weak or distorted audio when recording motion pictures. Snow or water droplets sticking to the camera, or freezing in narrow spaces. Keep the camera warm, and ensure no snow or water droplets are present.
Camera does not function properly after being exposed to water. Water inside the unit, or improper handling. Follow the "Caring of the camera after using it underwater" steps carefully. Ensure the side door is properly closed and sealed.
