Creating Still Pictures from 4K Motion Pictures

This guide explains how to extract still pictures from 4K motion pictures using the [4K PHOTO] function.

1. Recording motion pictures in 4K

  1. Select [4K PHOTO] in the [Motion Picture] menu and set it to [ON].
  2. Record a motion picture by pressing the motion picture button or the shutter button. You can add markers using [Fn2] during recording.
  3. Adjust the aspect ratio using the aspect ratio selector switch.
  4. Increase shutter speed using the shutter speed dial for fast-moving subjects.

2. Creating Still Pictures from a Motion Picture

  1. Pause the motion picture playback at the desired frame using the cursor button.
  2. Press [MENU/SET] to confirm and save the still picture.

Created still pictures will be saved with recording information.
