Warranty Information
This is a one year limited warranty for the camcorder, covering parts and labor.
**Charging:**
1. Set mode dial to OFF.
2. Open card/battery door.
3. Insert battery.
4. Close door.
5. Connect AC adapter.
6. Open terminal cover.
7. Plug DC plug into unit.
**Date & Time:**
1. Set mode dial to a position other than OFF.
2. Select YES.
3. Set date and time.
4. Enter date and time.
**Recording:**
*Motion Pictures: Set to [], start, stop.
*Still Pictures: Set to [], take picture.
Troubleshooting and error codes
| Status indicator does not flash | Battery not inserted correctly or AC adaptor not connected. | Remove and reinsert the battery, and disconnect and reconnect the AC adaptor. If the status indicator still does not flash, contact your dealer. |
| Status indicator flashes rapidly | Battery cannot be charged. | Remove and reinsert battery, and try recharging. Check battery/ambient temperature. If charging still doesn't commence, contact dealer. |
| Status indicator flashes slowly | Charging requires time. | Battery may be excessively discharged, or battery/ambient temperature is too high/low. |
| AC power used and charging interrupted | Unit is activated while battery is charging. | Turn off the unit during charging. |
