Turning the Power On/Selecting Operation Modes: Set the Power Switch to [ON]. Press [REC/PLAY] to select Recording or Playback Mode. Then press [MODE] to choose from MPEG2, MPEG4, or PICTURE modes for recording or playback.
Using the Menu Screen: Select a mode, press [MENU], navigate through Main Menu and Sub-Menu items using the multi-function button, and press [SET] to confirm selections.
Setting Date and Time: In Recording Mode, press [MENU], select [Date Setup], then [Date Set]. Use the multi-function buttons to adjust the date and time, then press [SET] to confirm.
