Getting Started:

  • Simple Setup: Follow steps for positioning, connecting cables (audio, video, speakers, antennas, digital transmitter), connecting AC power, and preparing the remote control. Perform QUICK SETUP for initial settings.
  • Basic Play: Power on, select "DVD/CD", open the disc drawer, place disc(s), close drawer, and press Play. Use the 5 DISC SELECTOR or remote for disc selection.
  • Convenient Functions: Play CDs sequentially, repeat play, quick replay, program and random play. Navigate data discs using on-screen menus.
  • Sound Effects: Use equalizer, Surround Music, Center Focus, Subwoofer level adjustments, Dolby Pro Logic II/Super Surround, and speaker level adjustments.
  • External Sources: Enjoy audio from TV, Music Port, or iPod.

Troubleshooting and error codes

"F76" Consult dealer for power supply problem. -
"DVD U11" Wipe disc clean. 13
"ERROR" Incorrect operation. Turn unit off/on, or disconnect AC power. Contact service if error persists. -
"DVD HO", "DVD FO" stand for a number. Service number indicates status. Contact qualified service person if error persists. -
"W1" is flashing. No link between main unit and wireless system. Check connections and power. 8, 11
"U70" stands for a number. HDMI connection issues. Check HDMI compatibility and cable length/condition. 8
"XM RADIO" XM radio powering up; wait a few seconds. -
"XM ERROR" Restart unit. Check XM antenna. Consult dealer. -
"REMOTE 1" or "REMOTE 2" Match remote control mode to main unit. 10
No response when any buttons are pressed. Unit may not be operating properly. Turn unit off/on or disconnect AC power. Condensation formed. Replace batteries. Aim remote correctly. Change remote mode. 12, 9, 9, 11, 10
