Installation Site Requirements

Install the unit in a location that is:
  • Not subjected to direct sunlight.
  • Well-ventilated (at least 10 cm clearance).
  • Away from heat-generating sources.
  • With stable ambient temperature (5°C to 35°C).
  • On a sturdy and level floor.
  • Not prone to high humidity (80% R.H. or less).
  • Free from flammable or corrosive gases.
  • Without the possibility of anything falling on it.

Installation Steps

  1. Remove all packaging materials and tapes. Clean the unit if necessary.
  2. Adjust the leveling feet to ensure the unit is level.
  3. Fix the unit to the wall using the provided fixtures if necessary.
  4. Ensure the unit is properly grounded.

Start-up Procedure

  1. Connect the power cord to a dedicated outlet and turn on the power switch.
  2. Turn off the backup cooling kit switch if installed.
  3. Check that the battery switch is ON.
  4. Silence any audible alarm by pressing the BUZZER key.
  5. Set the desired chamber temperature.
  6. Verify that the chamber temperature reaches the set point.
  7. Turn on the backup cooling kit switch if installed.
  8. Test the alarm functions by pressing the ALARM TEST key.
  9. Once confirmed, load articles into the freezer in small batches.

Routine Maintenance

  • Clean the cabinet monthly.
  • Defrost the inside wall as needed (normal or thorough defrosting).
  • Clean the condenser filter monthly.
