First-time Operation

1. Preparation: Check and identify supplied accessories (AC Adaptor, Conversion Cable, AC Cord, Battery Pack, Soft Cloth, Operating Instructions). Contact support if any are missing.
2. Latest Information on Windows 10: Refer to the provided web page for updates.
3. Insert the battery pack: Align and slide the battery pack into the keyboard base until it locks.
4. Remove the battery pack: Slide latches and push out the battery pack.
5. Connect to power: Connect the conversion cable to the AC adaptor, then to a power outlet. Charging starts automatically. Do not disconnect until first-time operation is complete.
6. Open the display: Hold by the sides and open the display carefully. Do not open wider than 125° or apply excessive pressure to the LCD.
7. Turn on the computer: Press and hold the power switch until the power indicator lights. Do not perform certain operations until First-time Operation is completed.
8. Setup Windows: Follow on-screen instructions to select language, connect to network, and set password.
9. Restart the computer: Click Start, then Power, then Restart.
10. Update the on-screen manual: Connect to the internet, sign in as administrator, and update via Panasonic PC Settings Utility.
11. Create a recovery disc: Recommended before use. Refer to Operating Instructions - Reference Manual.
