Product Overview

Basic Operations

  • Printing: Connect the unit to your computer via USB or LAN. Use the printer driver or the Easy Print Utility to send print jobs.
  • Scanning: Select scan mode and use either the scanner glass for single documents or the automatic document feeder (ADF) for multi-page documents.
  • Copying: Select copy mode, place the document, and press Start. Adjust copy size, contrast, and resolution as needed.
  • Faxing (KX-MB2030 only): Select fax mode. You can send faxes manually using the dial pad or by using the phonebook/one-touch dial features.

Important Notes

  • Do not connect the USB cable until prompted during setup.
  • Be mindful of the fuser unit and other parts that may become hot during operation.
  • Use genuine Panasonic toner and drum cartridges for optimal performance.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Cannot dial Incorrect dialing mode set. Set the dialing mode to "PULSE" or "TONE" according to your telephone line service. (Page 18)
Paper jam Paper is not loaded correctly. Re-adjust the paper guides or ensure the paper is laying flat in the paper input tray. (Page 15)
