  • Before Use: Charge the earphones and charging cradle. Remove insulation sheets. Fit earphones correctly. Connect to a Bluetooth device by following pairing instructions.
  • Operation: Listen to music by selecting it on your paired device. Make phone calls using the touch sensors to answer, reject, or end calls. RZ-B310W specific features include external sound control (noise cancelling, ambient sound) and game mode.
  • Touch Sensors: Operate music playback, calls, voice assistants, and game mode using touch sensors on the earphones. Functions vary slightly between RZ-B310W and RZ-B110W models.
  • Using One Earphone: The unit can be used with a single earphone, though sound will be monaural.
  • Other: Restore factory settings, troubleshoot connection and charging issues, and clean the unit.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Issue Possible Cause / Solution
Does not connect with the Bluetooth® device.
  • Delete the registration information for this unit from the Bluetooth® menu of the device, then pair again (page 9).
  • Disconnect the connected device if you want to connect to another device.
  • Note the maximum number of paired devices (4 for RZ-B310W, 10 for RZ-B110W). Overwritten devices require re-pairing.
The left and right batteries deplete at different rates.
  • There may be some difference due to signal and usage conditions.
Cannot charge the unit.
  • Charge within room temperature 10 °C to 35 °C (50 °F to 95 °F).
  • RZ-B310W: Check status indicator if it continues to flash.
  • RZ-B110W: Check status indicator for lights off (connected) or white (not connected).
  • Ensure the unit is not already charged.
  • Charge the charging cradle if its battery is empty.
  • Ensure the USB charging cord is connected firmly and the computer is on (not standby/sleep).
  • Try a different USB port.
  • If charging time is short, batteries may be depleted.
Cannot operate the earphones.
  • Try turning the power off and on (page 8).
  • Restore factory settings (page 15).
The earphones do not turn on automatically.
  • Touch and hold the touch sensor for about 3 seconds to turn on manually (page 8).
No sound.
  • Ensure earphones and Bluetooth® device are connected and earphones are on.
  • Check if music is playing on the Bluetooth® device.
  • Pair and connect again (page 9).
  • Ensure the Bluetooth® device supports the A2DP profile.
Low volume.
  • Increase the volume on the Bluetooth® device.
Sound from the device is cut off. / Too much noise. / Sound quality is bad.
  • Do not cover earphones with your hand.
  • Keep the device within 10 m (33 ft.) communication range.
  • Remove obstacles between earphones and device.
  • Switch off wireless LAN devices when not in use.
The voice of the person on the other end of the call is small.
  • Increase the volume on the Bluetooth® device.
Cannot make a phone call.
  • Check if the Bluetooth® device supports the HFP profile.
  • Check and adjust audio settings on the Bluetooth® telephone.
