Basic Operation

Charging: Connect the charging cradle to a power source using the supplied USB charging cord. Place earphones in the cradle to charge. Earphone LEDs indicate charging status.

Turning On/Off: Take earphones out of the cradle to turn on. Put them back in to turn off.

Bluetooth Connection: Take both earphones out to initiate pairing. Select "RZ-S500W" or "RZ-S300W" on your device. Once paired, they will connect automatically.

Listening to Music: Connect to a Bluetooth device and play music. Use touch sensors for playback control.

Making Calls: Connect to a Bluetooth phone. Use touch sensors to answer, reject, or end calls.

External Sound Control (RZ-S500W only): Switch between Noise Cancelling, Ambient Sound, and OFF modes by touching and holding the right earphone's touch sensor.

Voice Functions: Activate voice assistants like Amazon Alexa or Siri by touching and holding the left earphone's touch sensor.

Using One Earphone: You can use either earphone independently for music or calls.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Possible Cause / Solution
No sound.
  • Ensure earphones and Bluetooth device are connected.
  • Check if music is playing on the Bluetooth device.
  • Turn earphones on; ensure volume is not too low.
  • Pair and connect the Bluetooth device and earphones again.
  • Verify Bluetooth device supports A2DP profile.
Low volume.
  • Raise volume on both the Bluetooth device and earphones.
Sound cut off / Too much noise / Bad sound quality.
  • Avoid covering earphones with hand.
  • Ensure device is within 10m range.
  • Remove obstacles between earphones and device.
  • Switch off wireless LAN devices if not in use.
Device cannot be connected.
  • You can pair up to 10 devices; overwrite previous ones if limit is exceeded.
  • Delete pairing information from the Bluetooth device and re-pair.
Voice of the person on the other end of the call is small.
  • Raise volume on the Bluetooth device.
Cannot make a phone call.
  • Check if Bluetooth device supports HSP or HFP profile.
  • Check audio settings on the Bluetooth telephone.
Cannot operate the earphones.
  • Try turning the power off and on.
Left and right batteries deplete at different rates.
  • This may occur due to signal and usage conditions.
Amazon Alexa is not responding.
  • Ensure Alexa app is activated, voice assistant is set to Amazon Alexa, data communication is enabled, and device is paired with the app.
Cannot charge the unit.
  • Ensure USB charging cord is connected firmly.
  • Put earphones into charging cradle correctly.
  • Charge the cradle if earphone LEDs don't light.
  • Charge in recommended temperature range (10 °C to 35 °C).
  • Ensure computer is on and not in sleep mode.
  • Try a different USB port.
  • Check if unit is already fully charged.
Earphones or charging cradle get warm during charging.
  • This is normal.
Earphones do not turn on.
  • Take them out of the charging cradle after LEDs light red.
Charging cradle LEDs do not light.
  • Charge the cradle using the USB charging cord.
  • Try closing and opening the lid after unplugging the cord.
