Preparation: Check and identify supplied accessories (AC Adaptor, AC Cord, Battery Pack, etc.). Read the LIMITED USE LICENSE AGREEMENT.
Inserting the Battery Pack: Slide latches to unlock and open the cover, insert the battery pack, and close the cover, then lock the latch. Ensure latches are securely locked to prevent the battery pack from falling.
Attaching the stylus: Use the tether to attach the stylus to the computer.
Opening the Display: Push and hold the latch and lift open the display.
Connecting to power: Connect the computer to a power outlet. Battery charging starts automatically.
Turning on the computer: Slide and hold the power switch until the power indicator lights. Do not slide the power switch repeatedly. Wait 10 seconds or more before turning on again if you just turned it off.
Setup Windows: Follow on-screen instructions. The computer will restart several times. Do not touch keyboard or touch pad during this process.
Restart the computer: Shut down the computer, then restart.
Create recovery disc: Recommended before using the computer.
Using wireless function: Slide the wireless switch to ON and configure settings.
Changing partition structure: Shrink existing partitions to create new ones if needed.
