- Before Use: Read "Read this first!", "IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS", "Recommendation for Use of Genuine Panasonic Battery", "Outline of operations", "Please read before use", and "Operating precautions".
- Preparation: Recharging battery, connecting power sources (battery/AC adapter), adjusting hand strap, attaching/detaching handle/grip, setting up remote control, turning camera on/off, understanding tally lamp, using viewfinder and LCD monitor, setting calendar and time zone.
- Shooting: Basic shooting operations including preparing for recording, using SD memory cards, formatting cards, selecting slots, adjusting shutter speed, switching audio input, using scene files, and adjusting camera settings like gain, white balance, and focus.
