Basic Camera Positioning

1. Hold the unit with both hands.
2. Put your hand through the grip belt.
3. Use the Recording button icon A when holding the unit at waist level.

Ensure stable footing and avoid collisions. Record with sunlight behind you outdoors to prevent dark images. Keep arms close and legs apart for balance. Do not cover microphones.

Basic Motion Picture Recording

Hold the unit steady. Move slowly and maintain a constant speed when panning. Use zoom sparingly for distant subjects to avoid making the video less enjoyable.

Recording Yourself

Rotate the LCD monitor towards the lens. The image will be horizontally flipped (mirror image), but the recording is normal. Some indications may appear; if ! appears, return the LCD to normal and check warnings.
