Operating the Engraving Tool:
1. Power On/Off: Plug the power cord (3) into a socket. Hold the tool firmly with one hand. Move the ON/OFF switch (1) to position 'I' to turn it on, and to position 'O' to turn it off.
2. Adjusting Engraving Depth: Use the stroke rate regulator (6) to set the engraving depth. A lower setting is usually sufficient for most applications. Turn the regulator towards '+' to increase depth and towards '-' to decrease it.
3. Changing Engraving Tip: When the engraving tip (4) is worn, turn the engraving tip lock (5) counter-clockwise to remove the old tip. Remove the spring and washer. Place the washer and spring onto the new tip, insert it, and turn the lock clockwise to secure it. Ensure the tip is correctly fixed.
4. Work Tips: Hold the tool at an angle, like a pen, with your forearm resting on the table. Apply light pressure with the engraving tip (4) on the workpiece. Test on a scrap piece to determine ideal engraving speed.
5. Cleaning and Maintenance: Unplug the tool before any maintenance. Remove dirt with a dry cloth.
6. Storage: Store the product in a dry indoor area, protected from direct sunlight, preferably in its original packaging.
