Operating the Camera

Loading Film: Set shutter dial to a fast manual setting. Open back cover by lifting rewind knob. Insert film, draw leader to take-up spool, engage sprockets. Advance lever and fire shutter until film is wound. Close back cover and wind film to take up slack. Advance film until counter shows '1'.

Setting Film Speed: Press ASA dial lock release and turn ASA dial to match film speed. Ensure it clicks into place.

Setting Shutter Dial: For automatic exposure, set dial to 'Automatic'. For manual, press lock release and turn dial to desired speed. Viewfinder shows selected speed.

Activating Meter: Lightly press shutter release button. Metering system and viewfinder LED activate for up to 25 seconds.

Focusing: Use split-image center spot, rotating lens until image aligns. For microprism collar, rotate until 'shimmering' effect disappears. For matte field, focus until image is sharp.
