Playing a CD
- Open the CD player lid.
- Insert an audio CD, printed side up.
- Close the lid and press to start playback.
- Press to pause/resume playback.
- Press to stop playback.
- Press again to switch the player off.
Features
- Track selection and search: Use or buttons to skip tracks or search.
- Programming tracks: Store up to 30 tracks in a program.
- Mode selection: Choose from shuffle, repeat, and scan modes.
- ESP (Electronic Skip Protection): Prevents interruptions during playback.
- Resume/Hold: Resume playback from the last stopped position or lock all buttons.
Troubleshooting and error codes
| Problem | Solution |
|---|---|
| No power, or playback does not start | Check batteries, adapter connection, or car ignition. |
| The indication NO DISC is displayed | Check CD is clean and correctly inserted. Wait if lens is steamed up. |
| The indication DISC ERROR is displayed | CD-RW (CD-R) not recorded properly. Use FINALIZE. |
| HOLD is on and no reaction to controls | Deactivate HOLD. Disconnect power/remove batteries. |
| CD skips tracks | Check CD for damage or dirt. Switch off RESUME, SHUFFLE, or PROGRAM. |
| No sound or bad sound quality | Check PAUSE is off, connections are clean, volume is adjusted, and avoid magnetic fields. For car use, check cassette adapter and connections. |
