Opening/Closing CD Lid: Press OPEN to open, push down to close.
Playing a CD: Insert CD with label side up, close lid, press play (▶).
Pausing/Resuming Playback: Press II to pause, press again to resume.
Stopping Playback: Press ■ to stop.
Powering Off: Press ■ again after stopping playback.
Volume Adjustment: Use VOL +/- buttons.
Bass Boost: Press DBB to turn on/off.

| CD skips tracks | CD is damaged or dirty. Clean or replace CD. RESUME, SHUFFLE, or PROGRAM might be active; switch off. |
| No sound or bad sound quality. | PAUSE might be active. Check connections (loose, wrong, dirty). Adjust volume. Avoid strong magnetic fields and active mobile phones. For in-car use, check cassette adapter and cigarette lighter jack; allow temperature change. |
