Quick Start Guide - Operation Summary

Turning On/Off: Press and hold the power button to turn the unit on or off.

Connecting Wires: Connect the ISO male connectors to the supplied connector. Carefully check the car wiring and connect to the supplied male connector.

Storing Stations Automatically: In radio mode, press and hold DBB until 'STORE' is displayed, then press to confirm. The six strongest stations are saved automatically.

Storing Stations Manually: Tune to a desired station, then press and hold a number button for three seconds to store it.

Selecting Country/Region: Press to turn on, then select the operating region using the rotate and confirm buttons.

Setting Clock: Press MENU repeatedly until time is displayed, rotate to set hours, confirm, rotate to set minutes, confirm.

Listening to Radio: Press SOURCE to select radio mode. Use ZONE ▲▼ to select a band (FM1, FM2, FM3, AM1, AM2). Manually tune or use the auto-search function.

Pairing Bluetooth Devices: Turn on Bluetooth function on your device, search for other devices, select "Philips", and enter the default password "0000".

Making a Call: Use your mobile phone to dial a number. The unit will display 'CALL' when dialing is complete. To redial, press the redial button.

Receiving a Call: Incoming calls will display the number or 'PHONE IN'. Press to answer.

Ending a Call: Press and hold to end the call.

Call Transfer: During a call, press and hold until 'TRANSFER' is displayed to transfer audio from speakers to the phone.

Playing from USB: Insert a USB device into the designated USB slot. Playback starts automatically.

Inserting a Card: Insert a memory card into the card slot. Playback starts automatically.

Reset: Detach the front panel, then press the reset button with a ball-point pen.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Possible Cause Solution
No sound Volume is set to minimum. Increase the volume.
No sound Mute function is on. Press the MUTE button to turn off mute.
Radio reception is poor Antenna is not properly connected or is damaged. Check the antenna connection and condition.
Radio reception is poor Interference from other electronic devices. Move the device away from potential sources of interference.
Bluetooth device not connecting Bluetooth function is not turned on on either device. Turn on Bluetooth on both the car stereo and the mobile device.
Bluetooth device not connecting Device is not within range. Ensure the mobile device is within Bluetooth range (typically 10 meters).
Bluetooth device not connecting Incorrect password entered. Enter the default password "0000".
USB device not playing USB device is not properly connected. Ensure the USB device is securely plugged in.
USB device not playing Unsupported file format. Check if the file format is supported by the unit.
Memory card not playing Memory card is not properly inserted. Ensure the memory card is correctly inserted.
