Basic Operation:

  • Power On/Off: Press the power button or SOURCE to turn on. Press and hold the power button to turn off.
  • Volume: Rotate the volume knob or use VOL+/- buttons.
  • Source Selection: Press SOURCE to cycle through radio, USB, SDHC card, CD, and external audio devices.
  • Tuning: Use BAND to select FM/AM. Press and hold tune buttons for auto-seek, or press them for manual tuning. Use preset buttons (1-6) to select stored stations.
  • Audio Playback: For discs, insert with the printed side up. For USB/SDHC, insert the device. Use playback controls (Play/Pause, Skip, Search).
  • Sound Adjustments: Use EQ/AUDIO to select presets. Use DBB and MAX SOUND to enhance bass and volume. Adjust volume, bass, treble, and balance.
  • System Settings: Access the system menu (MENU) to adjust beep sound, demo mode, dimmer, clock, and tuner region/sensitivity.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Possible Solution
No power or no sound. Car engine is not on. Check connections. Fuse is burnt (replace). Volume is too low. Press RESET. Track played is not compatible format.
Noise in broadcasts. Signals are too weak (select other stations). Check antenna connection. Change broadcast from Stereo to mono.
Cannot play disc Ensure disc label is inserted correctly. Clean disc. Disc may be defective. Ensure CD is finalised and not copy-protected. Ensure random mode is deactivated.
The CD skips tracks Ensure CD is not damaged or dirty. Ensure random mode is deactivated.
Disc cannot be ejected Press and hold ⏏ until the disc comes out.
Preset stations lost. Battery cable not correctly connected. Connect to live terminal.
Display show ERR-12 USB data error. Check the USB device.
