Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Possible Solution
No power or no sound Turn car engine on. Check connections. Replace fuse. Adjust volume. Press RESET. Ensure compatible format.
Noise in broadcasts Select stations with stronger signals. Check car antenna connection. Change broadcast from Stereo to mono.
Cannot play disc Ensure disc label is inserted correctly, wipe disc. Try another disc. Ensure disc is finalised and not copy-protected.
The CD skips tracks Ensure CD is not damaged/dirty. Deactivate random mode.
Disc cannot be ejected Press and hold ▲.
Preset stations lost Battery cable not correctly connected. Connect to always-live terminal.
Display shows ERR-1 Disc, USB or SD device cannot be read in two minutes.
Display shows ERR-3 USB/SD/MMC data error. Disc is upside down.
Display shows ERR-5 Communication error or component is damaged.
